Social Care Wales 

Leading on the production coordination of the Social Care Wales 2020 Accolades, originally set in the City Hall Cardiff, which then changed to be held virtually in a studio environment. Conducted the research and communication for the social care worker card released in April 2020 allowing care workers to access some of the same benefits as NHS staff. Supporting the Communications team with administration and customer service tasks.

Wrestling

I continue to worked closely with various wrestling promotions around the UK, helping with get- ins and outs of shows and helping run events successfully. I have had to consider many aspects of events management such as security and safety, merchandise sales, being a runner and also technical aspects & problem solving. I have also had experience being a part of the talent and understand why marketing and managing events successfully is so important.

BBC

In May 2018 I visited BBC sports for a couple of days and learnt about the different media platforms they use to advertise sporting interests and how each platform differs to another. I looked at online articles for their website, social media marketing and also radio where I joined the radio producers to observe the news bulletins being presented for BBC Radio Wales. In order to visit I had to complete courses on copyrighting, online safety and safety in the workplace. I found this experience very interesting and gained a network with the team at BBC Sport.

 Live Editing/ Vision Mixing

 Over the past two years I have been vision mixing for pro wrestling events with promotions such as Attack! Pro wrestling and 4FW (both can be found on Facebook and other social media platforms). With this, I have been under the supervision of a mentor who I am still learning from and working with. These tapings are put onto On Demand services on Vimeo and private websites specifically for the promotion.
